What it is
A free, openly available AI tutor for veterinary clinical pathology. It works conversationally: a learner brings a question, a set of laboratory values, or a case scenario, and the tutor walks through the reasoning rather than simply returning an answer.

How it should be used
As an educational aid that supplements teaching, textbooks and specialist supervision — never as a diagnostic system. It is most useful for rehearsing interpretive reasoning: why an acid-base pattern fits a differential, how to build a systematic approach to a haemogram, or where a cytologic description leaves ambiguity. Learners are expected to check its output, and disagreement with the tutor is itself a productive teaching moment.
Educational research
The tutor doubles as a research instrument. Current questions concern how students actually use a conversational tutor, what usage volume reveals about study behaviour, whether the tool changes measured learning outcomes, and where its limitations show — including variation in how much learners trust generative output.
